"I have purchased a few of these 14kt solid yellow gold 16 gauge 5/16" 3mm eyebrow rings for myself. They are beautiful, classy and get a lot of compliments. The reason I have bought several, is because eventually, one of the balls will loosen and fall off. Please be aware: if YOU, the wearer, take it off and on, changing styles etc...you will strip the screw threading. That will be YOUR FAULT, not the companys. This happens to all tiny things that screw together. Also, if you continually tighten the balls to be sure they are on tight, you will eventually strip the screw. Don't over tighten. I've been buying this item from Body Candy since 2010. I've put it in and left it alone with no problems at all for a few years. Then, after a car accident, a surgery and continued head CT's that require you to remove all jewelry, is when I started having issues with it. It is a very delicate piece of jewelry. So I bought several relacement balls. They didn't work. Apparently, the bar screw threading is what gets stripped. So I bought an entire new unit, 3 or 4 times. I'd like to be able to buy a few solid 14kt yellow gold 16 gauge 5/16" 3mm bars alone, but Body Candy doesn't offer them as replacement parts. Only the CZ Balls. Due to continuing head CT's, I personally will always have this problem of the screw threading getting strpped due to repeated required removal. However, if you want a piece of beautiful, quality 14kt eyebrow jewelry, this is it. The stones have NEVER fallen out, and if you put it in and leave it alone, you'll never have a problem. Just check gently after washing your face and drying your face, or wiping your face when you're wet and sweaty. Like after sporting activities, etc. Anything that causes need to touch/ wipe your face. I emphasize GENTLY...remember, it IS a tiny, delicate piece of jewelry. It is NOT a novelty piece. I also have the 14kt yellow gold nose bone with a diamond. I usually find it after I've accidently knocked it out, even though it is SO tiny. I think I've only actually had to buy a new one twice since 2008. Again, a quality piece of jewelry. The stones have NEVER fallen out. Treat these with love and you will have them, enjoy them, and receive compliments on them for years to come!"
