Hoop Nose Rings

A hoop is the nose ring people notice from across the room. Seamless rings, hinged hoops, horseshoes and double spirals, in surgical steel, titanium, sterling silver and real 14k gold. Most are 20G. Pick 5/16" if you want it tight to the nostril, 3/8" if you want a little swing.

Nose Hoop Size & Fit Guide

Two numbers decide the fit. Gauge is the thickness of the wire, and most nose hoops are 20G with some 18G, so match what you wear now. Diameter is the real style choice. 5/16" hugs the nostril close. 3/8" gives the hoop some air and movement. Every product page lists both.

Each closure opens a different way. A seamless ring opens with a gentle sideways twist, like a key ring, and pulling it apart will bend it out of round. A hinged hoop clicks open and shut with one hand. A horseshoe has a ball that unscrews. Seamless looks cleanest. Hinged swaps fastest.

FAQ

Start with gauge. Most are 20G, some 18G, so match your current jewelry. Then pick a diameter. 5/16" sits snug against the nostril and 3/8" hangs a little looser. If your current hoop fits well, buy the same diameter. It's listed on every product page.

Twist it sideways. Never pull it apart. Hold each side and move one end toward you and the other away, like opening a key ring, just far enough to slide it in. Pulling the circle open bends it out of round for good.

Seamless is the cleanest, most minimal look. Hinged clicks open and shut, which makes it the easiest swap by far. A horseshoe has threaded balls and a bolder profile. If you change jewelry often, go hinged. If you put it in and forget it, go seamless.

Not on a healed piercing with a sensible fit. A snug diameter moves less and sits better. While you're still healing, keep the stud your piercer chose. Hoops are for healed piercings.

Both are here. Some pieces are real 14k solid gold and some are gold-tone finishes at a lower price. The product page says which. "14kt gold" means solid. "Gold tone" or "gold plated" means the look without the price.

Titanium (nickel-free) or 14k solid gold. Surgical steel suits most people. Every product page lists the material, so you know before you buy.
