20G Flat Back Earrings

The daintiest flat backs we carry. A 20G post, standard earring thin, with the flush disc back that never pokes. Micro CZs, 2mm gems, gold PVD and real 14k gold, built for lobes and fine piercings that want sparkle without bulk. Stack three, feel none.

20 Gauge Flat Back Fit Guide

20G (0.8mm) is regular earring thickness. If standard studs slide into your piercing, these will too. That makes this the page for lobes, stacked lobes, and fine cartilage piercings sized at 20G. Standard cartilage usually runs thicker, and that's the 16G page.

Tops here are deliberately small, 2mm to 3mm gems, because dainty is the brief. Post lengths run 1/4" snug to 5/16" roomy. Threadless push-ins dominate for the fastest swaps. All the specs are on every product page.

FAQ

Anything pierced at standard earring thickness. Lobes first, plus fine cartilage and nose piercings done at 20G. If your regular studs fit, 20G flat backs fit.

Only if the piercing is actually 20G. Most cartilage is pierced thicker, at 16G, and a 20G post will feel loose and can migrate in a 16G channel. Match your gauge. When in doubt, your piercer knows.

Comfort and stacking. The flush disc doesn't poke when you sleep or take phone calls, and the tiny 2mm to 3mm tops sit neatly side by side. The whole stacked-lobe look is built on these.

Most here are threadless. Grip the disc, pull the top straight out, and press it back in until snug. Threaded versions unscrew. Either way a swap takes seconds.

The collection runs the range. Surgical steel and gold PVD at everyday prices, and solid 14k gold pieces clearly labeled. The product page always says which. "14k solid" means solid.

Keep your starter studs in until your piercer clears you. Lobes heal in about 4 to 8 weeks. After that, 20G flat backs are about the most comfortable thing you can put in a healed lobe.
