"In the photo I’ve compared the size of my original jewelry I was pierced with (in silver on the left) to the barbell that came with this jewelry (gold on the right). When I tried to put this new jewelry in, it felt a bit larger than my original barbell and I had difficulty putting it on. Also note that it’s an externally threaded barbell (threads on the bar, ball has a threaded hole)."
