Vitamin C:

Wrinkles. Sun Spots. Crow's Feet. These are terms that might not scare someone in their teens or early twenties. After all, for the young, aging skin is a problem to worry about in the distant future... Or is it?

Think about your skin in these terms instead: brilliance protection, glowing skin, tightness and firmness, redness reduction, evenness... Or better yet, just having better looking skin .

The Scientific Stuff:

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, meaning it fights free-radicals, nasty little molecules that wreak havoc in your body through a process called oxidative stress. Over time, the damage this stress causes becomes visual - it's what we perceive as aging - wrinkles, dark spots, redness that doesn't disappear, unevenness, thinness, even cancerous cells.

Enter Vitamin C - even if you're a citrus fanatic or take a Vitamin C immunity supplement, a surprisingly small amount of Vitamin C actually makes it into your skin. That makes it all the more important to apply Vitamin C directly to your skin via some sort of topical application.

Vitamin C should be a key part of any beauty regimen. Here's why:

1.) Its skin-brightening properties stop pigment production in its tracks.

2.) It's a natural anti-inflammatory and fights redness of all kinds

3.) It protects your skin from harmful UV rays

How to use Vitamin C Serum:

Serum

Even if you've never been one for skin care, Vitamin C Serum is not an intimidating product to introduce into your routine. At first, you can introduce it to your skin every other day, gradually move to once a day, and if your skin needs it, apply it in both the morning and the evening.

Here's how to use it:

1.) Wash your face and gently dry it

2.) If you use toner, apply that before Christopher David Vitamin C serum

3.) Warm a few drops of Christopher David Vitamin C Serum in your hand

or

3.) Put a drop of serum in each of your "zones" (forehead, both cheeks, tip of nose, chin, or whichever area you think needs the treatment)

4.) Gently massage the serum into your skin - if you feel greasy, you probably used too much! Adjust and use a bit less next time.

5.) If you use moisturizer, apply that last - remember, serums before creams!

Do a Spot Test First:

We chose Christopher David Vitamin C serum because of it's sheer, natural power to hydrate and condition your skin. This does, however, mean it is concentrated for maximum strength. Before you fully commit to a Vitamin C regimen, we recommend performing a patch test on a small section of your skin on your neck or arm.
