Which earrings do I wear with this outfit? Is this necklace "too much"? Can I wear this ring with this shirt?  Accessorizing with jewelry can be difficult, but it can be fun too. If you find yourself asking these questions while getting ready then keep on reading. There's no need to spend any more money on clothes, just use these tips to dress up the clothes you already have with jewelry!  Whether you're going to work, to dinner, to a family party, or out on the town with the girls, you can spruce up any outfit.

While trying to choose the right jewelry for a specific outfit make sure to choose the jewelry that will compliment your outfit best. The colors don't need to be the same, but they should be complimentary. Try to stay within one category for colors, like nature colors (greens, browns and plums) or warm colors (oranges, yellows and reds). Next, we must remember that less is more. Choose a focal piece of jewelry that you really love and add on a few other pieces that are more discreet.  For example, if you are wearing a long or showy necklace, then choose studs or simple earrings, instead of longer dangling ones. A little bit can go a long way!

Jewelry can dress up even the most casual outfit. Necklaces can enhance the look of any sweater, tank or t-shirt by adding color and beauty. Next, find a bracelet, belly ring, or earrings that go with your necklace. Be careful with these though, bangles are trendy but you don't want them going all the way up your arm. In addition, earrings are great but make sure they look good with your hair style. Earrings draw attention to your face, so don't wear those long, bulky earrings if you already have a crazy hair style going on. And remember that this goes for body jewelry as well; a large, fancy nose ring or attention grabbing lip ring would seem like too much with a cascade of multi colored curls.

Lastly, dress for the occasion. The jewelry that you wear to work might be different from what you wear out. Be sure to choose something more classy and professional for daytime, and something fun and exotic for the night. You can really show who you are through your accessories.  For instance, if you're into graphic tees and tattoo style clothing, you could add a funky belt buckle or colorful bracelet. For a more intense look, try some plugs or tapers with your outfit. Can't commit? Try cheater plugs instead. A t-shirt and jeans can be spiced up with the right selection of earrings, bracelets, rings and more. There are so many options when it comes to accessorizing with jewelry, remember to have fun with it.  It's your style!
