Hey Body Candy Babes!

What's up y'all?! Welcome back to my weekly e-zine, The Tea. AHHH! LAS VEGAS HAS BEEN SO MUCH FUN :)!

What happens in Vegas... doesn't stay in Vegas this time! I've been here since Sunday at the 24th annual APP (Association of Professional Piercers) Conference. I've been taking a ton of classes and learning so much about safety, innovation, and acceptance. I'm here with some of the most talented piercers and piercing professionals from around the world. It's been an amazing experience thus far, and there's still a few days to go! I'm very excited to share all the amazing information I've learned.

Things have definitely been crazy (time zones, amirite?!), but I'd never miss a chance to hang out with my babes for The Tea. I made a quick little vlog for y'all that talks about what I've learned so far, what's been inspiring me as a modded individual, and a little bit about what it's like to be in Vegas for the first time! I even pointed out some of the amazing new jewelry creations I picked up while I was here. I don't want to spoil all of the fun for you, so make sure you check out my video and see what I have to say :).

I think my travel schedule might get in the way of FB Live this week... Don't worry, I'll find a way to make it up to all my regular BC babes :).

Let me give a quick shout out to our Body Jewelry Blog - this week, I put together a little blog about some of the stuff that APP has helped me learn. In one of my favorite classes, I learned helpful tips and tricks for taking good pictures of jewelry - it's harder than you think! I think what's inspired me most is how many piercers are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space that makes everyone feel welcome... It makes me very proud to be a part of the modified community - body mods for everyone :)!

Being at the APP Conference has enlightened me to how seriously the professionals in this industry take the art of body modification. There is a reason that I always tell y'all to consult your professional piercer with any questions you may have - they're the ones who have the knowledge, training, and EXPERIENCE to back it up.

Please take a second to find your favorite piercer or shop on Instagram and follow their page - your likes, comments, and support goes a long way! And If you ever need a trustworthy piercer, you can always head over to the APP website to search for a member in your area.
