Unscrewing Pesky Piercing Ball
Have a piece of jewelry and the ball just won't unscrew? We've all been there… Jade has some tips for you!
- Use a pair of latex gloves! These will help you get the grip you need on the ball and add that extra torque to get that little guy off.
- Double-check if you are twisting the right way. Sometimes I'll find myself twisting the ball in the complete opposite direction and I'm just tightening it not loosening it! May seem obvious but add it to your list.
- Phone a friend. Sometimes putting a piece of jewelry in or taking it off requires a buddy. Asking them to help might make the process go a lot smoother than if you were alone.
- Using a pair of pliers will definitely give you the grip you need but be cautious when using this method if you are not using a pair of rubber-tipped pliers because using metal pliers may damage your jewelry irreparably. If you don't have access to a rubber-tipped pliers sea tip number 5!
- Visit your piercer! If any of these tips haven't worked it might be time to see a professional. They are experts in manipulating jewelry and will get that off in a snap!
Hopefully, these tips help! If you have a method that we didn't think of, send me an email! jade@bodycandy.com!!!
