My name is Alley and this is The Tea! It's my weekly Thursday e-zine where I talk about all-things body mods.
I was lucky enough to get pierced this past weekend and I WENT FOR IT! I now have three new cartilage piercings in my right ear - a conch, a flat, and a tragus.
Today, I figured I'd talk a little bit about my experience at the shop, getting pierced with a mask on, and what it was like to get three cartilage piercings done in a row.
Today's topics:
- I stopped at Adorn while I was in Oregon to get pierced by the wonderful Desta.
- Of the three piercings, I found my tragus to be the most painful! I was expecting the conch to be the worst.
- Masks were worn by all parties the entire time! I was able to wear my mask throughout the piercing, even though the piercings were located in my ear.
- I chose three rose gold pieces - a flat disc for my flat; a snake for my conch; and an afghan-inspired stud for my tragus
- I've been sleeping on a donut pillow typically used for traveling - it's been working wonders!
