The Tea: I Want You Back!
Hey Body Candy Fam!
Happy Thursday, y'all! Thanks for hanging out. Welcome to my weekly Thursday e-zine, The Tea :)!
Today's topics:
- Sometimes you have to let a piercing go... But what happens if you want it back?
- Can you get re-pierced? You sure can! I've had my septum re-pierced and I might get my high nostrils redone someday.
- Softer piercings like lobe or belly piercings should be a pretty easy heal up time... But you should be especially careful with cartilage piercings.
- If you got pierced with a gun... You might have an issue with keloids or scarring. It might be time to head back to a professional piercer for a consultation.
- Just remember that patience is key! Healing up your piercings is a marathon, not a sprint :).

Since we're talking about re-piercing your piercings today, I think it's smart to show off our new arrivals. It's very important to make sure you're letting your piercings heal before you change them out, but when you're ready to swap, we're always getting fun new stuff in! Next, yes, it's just around the corner... Valentine's day! Y'all know I love to coordinate my piercings with the seasons, and Valentine's day is no exception. This is the perfect time of year for a rose belly ring, some heart-shaped nipple shields, or a cute, dangle industrial. We've even got black hearts and devils for all the single qts out there! Finally, it wouldn't be a Tea-mail without me mentioning one of our body jewelry MVPs - the opal. We've got 'em in a ton of different colors - purple, blue, orange, pink, green, and the staple of them all, white. Opal Love is never a bad idea - so make sure you head over to the site to check out what we've got going on.
Did you know that Body Candy has our very own master gold jeweler? Yeah, that's right - we create all of our 14k and 18k gold pieces IN-HOUSE, right here in our production facility in Buffalo, NY. We wrote up a little something-something about why you should consider wearing gold jewelry in our latest blog, 14k Gold Jewelry - Why You Should Wear Solid Gold in Your Piercings. It might be scary to think about investing in a precious metal like gold, but as long as you take care of your jewelry, it will be a piece that can last you decades. You might even be able to pass it down someday as a family heirloom! We're constantly pumping out new content over on our Body Jewelry Blog for anyone interested in piercing and jewelry content... If you like The Tea, Dear Alley, and our Facebook LIVE series, check in from week to week to see what we're up to!
We're still going strong on our exclusive Monthly Club Subscription clubs. We're shipping these cute bbs all over the world now...
