If you have an outie belly button you may not be able to get it pierced, unfortunately. This piercing requires that little flap of skin at the top or bottom of your navel to have a piercing that will heal properly.  Some piercers will not pierce you if they feel the risk of rejection is too high. 

Another one highly affected by anatomy is the industrial piercing. Some people just do not have the outer ridge of cartilage needed to make this piercing work, But that doesn't mean you can't spice your ear up with some helix or flat piercings! If something doesn't work always ask your piercer what other options you have!
