Hello everyone. It's Friday. It's Friday. Facebook live time, so as per usual I'll just give you guys all a minute to filter in. I think I've been hopping in like a minute early lately, which maybe doesn't make things too crazy but maybe it does, I don't know. I'll just give you guys a minute. It looks like there's people popping in already so we'll be totally fine.
Hello. This is the stuff that's actually on my mind all the time. Love, smooches, ice cream, candy of the body variety. See what I did there? Hello everyone. So many people coming in. Hello, hello, hello. Hi Cory, Sadie, Victoria, Patricia, Katelyn, Lizzie, Isabelle, Kelsey, all the people, all the people. Alyssa. Alright, so as you guys may or may not have heard this week because actually I think I might have been a jerk and got a little sidetracked today and forgot to remind you guys that I was going to be here. I do have a bunch of stretching kit stuff with me and some different taper options. I kind of want to show everyone you don't have to just do like normal tapers and you totally can and there's ways to do it cheaper, because I know some people ask me all the time how you stretch on an affordable budget. I have all that kind of stuff with me today. Lots of cute stuff. Actually I'm realizing right now with my hair down you can't tell so much. These are actually tapers. These cute squiggly babies. I love these so much. We have these in a couple of different finishes, they are glass.
Hello everyone. I really like them because with my wild crazy hair I kind of like the swirls. I feel like they match a little bit. I just like that they're a little dangly. Thank you yes, and they are tapers. That's why it's so exciting. You can actually use these. Oh I missed a whole ... This is my life guys. I just miss huge chunks of hair. Yeah they're very cute and they match and they're very fun and you can use them to stretch. Yes it is initially Friday. Hello. Hi everyone. Yeah I'll talk more about these for sure, but I just wanted to make sure you guys saw those.
I would assume that they're hand blown by someone, I do not ... I think there's something that we actually order it in from a different company. I don't think we make them here, or I know we don't make them here. We do again, have these. These are like the blueish teal finish and we do have these in kind of like an opalescent. If you look back on our Instagram at Body Candy it might take you a minute to get down because we post a few times a day but there is a picture somewhere back there of me wearing the other finish that's available. Hello.
Real quick before we get into too many taper things and too many questions and stuff, I remembered to bring the belly ring of the month club with me this week, even though it is the end of the month. That means it's your last couple days to grab this if you are still interested. This $14.95 a month for three belly rings and it's three sets or three pieces in the set, curated by me. For May we did like mermaids, we had like a summer theme at one point. This one was a little bit more like the summery, like natural going to concerts and all that kind of stuff. We had a clear quartz chunk with the cute little rainbow anodized star. There was this purple glittery crescent moon dangly mama that's really cute.
Also, it came with a third basic that was a stone piece. This one happens to be tiger eyed, but there was also rose quartz, amethyst, opalite, turquoise, there was a bunch of different ones. You could have gotten any variety of that. This one, again, is available for just a couple more days so if you go to bodycandy.com and you sign up for the monthly club this is the one you will receive up until the end of August. As of September 1 we will have a new one which I will show next week and I'm very excited for you guys to see that. It's so beautiful and shiny and cute.
Jessica, get that order in. My sister just sent me a message a little bit ago saying she just got her new plugs and she was very excited. I love mail day, it's the best. Any time I order stuff it always keeps me all excited. Yeah 14.95 a month for the three pieces and also if you live outside of the US there is a $5 shipping charge that is flat rate, just so you guys know. Actually, before I set this down for the third time, if you got the belly ring of the month club and you like to match and you're also trying to straighten or taper your ears, stretch them, we do have tiger eye tapers. Let me make sure the light is bright enough for this. I want to make sure you guys can see everything. We have these natural stone tapers and they're really beautiful. We don't have these in a ton of sizes but what's fun about these is if you are stretching up, if you're starting from scratch, starting from a normal earring you already have to go the whole way up until you're ready. There's x amount of sizes in between where you're starting and where you're going to finish.
You can do things like buy packages with all of them in or what I did when I was sizing up, there's a couple of things I did. When I first started and I was going super quickly I just bought the kits because they were super easy. We have a bunch of these, this is the fuchsia ones. We have a blue, these are just acrylic. It's like the basic from 14 gauge up to double zero I think, which is a pretty normal size. Hi Hannah, no worries girl. These are really nice when you're first starting because your first sizes up until you hit double zero you're going to go really quick, unless you want to stop somewhere along the way. That's when you can have some fun and get these stone ones or if you want to buy each individual taper as you're going, especially after you're getting to those larger sizes. I brought a ton of different styles of tapers that you can have. You don't just have to have these acrylic straight ones or the stone straight ones. There's these pretty swirly glass ones that my hair is all tangled in all the time. It's just because my hair is crazy.
Hi Emily. There's other options. Sorry I'm ... It's been a really rough Friday for me. I don't know about any of you but it's been a really rough morning for me. Itching can be ... Chasity asked me what the safest way is to stretch your ears because ... Tried twice and always makes my ears itch. Okay itchy ears are going to happen. It's kind of normal. The one thing that really helps me with itching, if I do get it. That's usually how I know, not to be gross, but that's kind of how I know my ear is dirty. That I call it this all the time and I know you guys are like ugh but ear cheese, that stuff that comes out. It's not abnormal and if you just clean your ears everyday you really don't notice it. Hi April. If I forget to actually take my plugs out and wash them for like even just a day or two, that third day I'll feel a little itchy and when I go to touch it I'll realize that it slid really easy and I'm like oh it's because I didn't clean. I'm usually really good about that, it's been a long time. It's something to keep in mind. You always want to keep things clean, clean, clean. You want to make sure you're giving your ear ample amount of time in between sizes.
Like I said, if you're buying these taper sets it's super easy like the 14 gauge is going to be the size of a belly button ring. That's going to go in your ear super easy. Then it took me I would say a week to two weeks from size 14 up until maybe like size six or size four. Then maybe when I hit those last couple of sizes before double zero it took me more like the two to three week range. Then zero to double zero took me a little bit longer. Then double zero on starts to take you a little bit longer each time. Do you have your nose gauged or are you just looking for nose jewelry in general? We do show, for anybody who's here that hasn't been here before, I do show other jewelry usually but this week just happens to be a feature on tapers. If you look back at our old live videos we have tons and tons of different nose jewelry. We don't have any other belly ... We just have the belly ring of the month club right now. We don't have any other monthly clubs but they are being worked on and we are doing our best to get them to you guys. A lot of people have asked about the nose ones so hopefully that one works out for you.
That's super cool. Jamaica said, her husband all three boys have their ears gauged. It's something that not everybody wants to do but a lot of people do and it's so beautiful. One thing I really love about Body Candy is that we have so many plugs and so many different things on your way. You don't have to just have plain stuff if you don't want it. If you want things to be plain, we also have those. Like I said, use these. We also if you're feeling really feisty we have this super pack. This is all of the tapers from 14 to double zero like the little one I just showed you. It also comes with the little black plugs at every size along the way, because you're really not supposed to leave your tapers in. You want to grab actual small plugs to wear once you've tapered up into that size. This is nice, it has all the little pieces for you. This is when I was talking about stretching your ears affordably if you're going for affordable these packs are amazing. They're' so so cheap. They're under like ... I don't want to misquote but I know they're under 30 bucks, they might even be under 20. They're really really affordable.
Another tip we also carry this big pack I believe in clear. When I was sizing up for that short amount of time that I told you guys I did use the kit. What I did is I bought the clear cut and then I used nail polish and I would just paint the round front part of it and just change it to match my nails and my outfit all the time. That's something else you can do too if you're trying to keep it cheap but you kind of are bummed that you had to go all clear or all black. There's tons and tons of ways to do this and be super crafty and have fun along the way. If you're really crafty I know I love being creative with my jewelry, I love art. I make art. I love making music. All that kind of stuff. I'm just very creative. It's also really fun to see how you can glue different things on the front of plugs and make them look so different and cute. Those are things that over time I'll show you guys some projects that I've done on things that I've come with. It's a fun way to personalize your jewelry and keep it super simple or simple unique I should say.
Let me look up. I have a lot of questions coming in. We'll be doing gift card giveaways, Chasity, like here and there but just not every video. We've been trying to mix those in and we've been looking at really fun creative ways for you guys to enter gift card entries, like giveaways and stuff like that. We've been working hard on ... I know a lot of you guys were interested in being an influencer. We've now set up the influencer program and we're getting that rolling slowly, working it out, making sure everything is good. We're also going to have rep program, so you'll be Body Candy rep and we'll have ways for you to get different things and be involved with that so if there's anybody interested in anything like that your chance will come.
Make sure you follow us on all of our social media so you can keep up to date on that and be the first one to know. You're already on our Facebook, Facebook.com/bodycandybodyjewelry. Off in the other world of YouTube you can find us at youtube.com/bodycandybodyjewelry as well. We are on Twitter and Instagram under @bodycandy. Then we are on Snapchat our handle is bodycandy.com. You'll see my face on those places and platforms a lot. I do all the posting, I'm usually the one responding to messages for the most part. If you guys need anything anytime make sure hit me up in the DM's. I'm not always available immediately but I get to you within a very reasonable amount of time and it's a nice way for me to help you guys out super quick. You can also filter on our website. I know a lot of people ask me if we have certain things. If you are looking for something specific, if you are looking for tapers if you go to bodycandy.com and you use the keyword search and you write the word tapers in it and hit enter, it gives you 48 pages of tapers, 48. There is a lot.
Then if you're on your computer on the left hand size there is a gray box and it will have a ton of different filters. You can filter by gauge, diameter of the ring, finish, if you're looking for animals or flowers or hearts or basics. There's all different filter options to help you out with that and help narrow it down. Sometimes I'm just like well today I want an elephant cartilage stud. I'll type in elephant cartilage and whatever we have will come up. You can be that basic about it and find your own stuff for sure, but never hesitate to ask for help.
Kendra had a really great question. Kendra said, I have thought about doing this but I have a smaller-ish size ... Or to a smaller size. She just wants to stretch up a little bit, but I have four earrings in my lobes. If you stretch the first hole could you mess up the others or possibly blow out the lobe? The answer, my first answer, this is two parts, usual with me guys get used to it. It's because there's usually like a standard answer and then there's the way that I would interpret it on a more personal level for you. The standard answer is you can always mess something up, you can always blow something out. It could just happen. The other half of that, is if you are taking your time and doing it properly blow outs are not likely. That's really when you're forcing things, you're trying to go too quickly, that kind of stuff. Keep that in mind.
I do have my second holes done. I don't know if you can quite tell. I did, I had two piercings and honestly what I noticed is as I stretched maybe up until the last one or two sizes which I'm really big, I'm getting up close to an inch. My lobe expanded and just kind of pushed the other hole over and over. Once I got into these last few sizes it got a little closer but I don't notice any tearing, there's never been anything that's bothered me, nothing like that. If you're going to a small size, my answer for you would be not to worry about it. Let me look. You could stretch up to something as simple as like a six, which is really not that crazy. This is a six. Let me give you a size comparison I guess. Here's my pinkie, it's kind of the size of my pinkie now, maybe even a little bit smaller. This is really little and we still have tons of really cute jewelry. That size six to size zero is a real sweet spot for some of our real cute little plugs.
Chelsea, our jewelry comes in tons of different finishes. If you have an allergy to nickel, make sure that you are looking at ... I always forget which way it is. I think you want the titanium or the surgical steel. Check it out because some things we just carry a lot of different finishes and anybody could absolutely have a reaction but a lot of people don't and I don't have any problems, and I know a lot of people that don't have problems. It's all about your skin, everybody is different. Maria asked me what about an industrial skull hand but I'm not sure what she's asking about right now. Sharlene said she sort of complains about stones falling out of the jewelry and loves the colors but has been afraid to order. Things can absolutely fall out of anything, it's just life.
I have earrings that I've paid $300 for, no shame, that a stone fell out of. It's just, it is what it is. You should always be kind to your jewelry. If you're worried about certain things, a lot of jewelry you should really take out in the shower. I think some people just live it in. That continued water and soap and all sorts of residues and stuff like that can really break down jewelry over time. I do a lot of stuff with storage and I think we have a few other live videos maybe within the last month or two where I talked about storing stuff and why it's important to take good care of it. I hope that you decide to order, Sharlene. Anything can happen but also anything is possible and you don't know til you try and a lot of people do not have any issues. Just make sure you take care of it.
Emily asked about starting kits but we already touched on that. Abby asked what's my advice for someone who wants to get their belly button re-pierced that's been closed for about two years now. Re piercing is always going to be a little bit crappier than the first time, it's just true. It has to do with scar tissue. If you wanted to, something you could choose to do ... I don't know if I want to show you my belly right now because I've been sitting all funny. You can actually pierce the top and the bottom of your belly button so you might opt for the opposite of what you had. Also, don't be afraid because it's not much worse through the scar tissue, just that little bit is definitely noticeable. Don't be afraid, get it redone. You will love it, you will be so happy in six to eight months when you can put in all this beautiful jewelry and you can be part of our belly ring of the month club and you'll just be so happy, so make sure you do it.
Tiffany said she's ordered a lot from Body Candy and is always very satisfied with our jewelry. We love hearing that. Bodycandy.com, for anybody that's watching is our website. Anybody that's talking about being a rep make sure you are on our Instagram and looking because I will have posts up about that within the next week or so here. Paige asked, any advice on how to keep internal thread jewelry in? I use them in my tragus and they always fall out. It could be a simple, I know for my tragus for a long time after it was healed I would have to tighten my one earring every day to make sure it didn't fall out. Something you might want to consider is we have different lengths of bars for your tragus so you might want to try something a little smaller and snug so that it doesn't have room to move around. That doesn't matter whether it's internal or externally threaded or the bioplast or anything like that. It just might help you. I hope that that does help you Paige.
Kelly asked about best jewelry for a rook piercing. You should be checking out our eyebrow piercings or our eyebrow jewelry, those fit so nice in a rook. We also have a bunch of really cute things, if you go to bodycandy.com you can search through. Trina did her septum, woo hoo girl. I'm so glad to hear. It didn't hurt at all, any recommendations for my first septum exchange in a few weeks? As I said, I just want to remind you four to five weeks was how long it took me to heal. You might want to wait that five to six week mark to be changing anything. Just make sure that you're all the way healed. You're going to be itchy in a couple more days, but it's totally worth it. I will make sure if you're not on our Instagram already or our Snapchat I'll make sure I'm uploading some really fun septum rings over the next couple weeks for you. I'm so happy for you. I know you've been wanting to do that.
Ariel said she has double ears pierced and then both her gauges. The left ear I also have a third one and it hasn't messed anything up. Okay so that was a continuation on somebody letting us know that she has multiple piercings in each ear and have stretched all of them and hasn't had any issues. That's awesome to know. Hi Janelle. Ariel, when I did mine I used the new one to push the old one out because I didn't want to risk it being hard to put in a new one. Yeah, the first couple times you're going to change your septum, it's nice to get the other one ready to take out and then put in your new one and then transfer them at the same time and then you're not freaking out about whether you missed it or not.
The other weird tip for your septum, is when you go to put in new jewelry it's going to feel like you need to insert it like way back. Remember that this piercing is so far up in your nose. It's up in the tip. We're going to get personal guys, we're friends. We've been talking for a few months, it's all good. Here's this is my nose. It's up in like the tip of it. Don't freak out. Sometimes I'd be like oh my gosh I can't figure out where the hole is, it closed. It didn't close, I was just not thinking about what I was doing.
Erin, I'm totally going to be talking about tapers again in a second. I have a bunch to show, you haven't missed anything on that front. I'm going to take a break from questions for a minute because before I forget, I don't know if you guys have noticed at all, but I know the camera is backwards. We have shirts now and I'm going to get all babe-ly with you guys. This one is so cute, it says brains, beauty, piercings. It's a really nice fit. I kind of want to ... Actually I'm going to mess with my stuff for you guys so you can see it a little bit better because I think you need to. Remove all my equipment. I'm dedicated for you. Look, this is a really cute little tank top, right? Just nice and plain and cute. It sits really nice right here. I like that it's a little loose and it gives me I don't feel like I'm being cut off or anything like that and it's not super short, which is always something I'm worried about.
Look at that back of this. I have on not the right bra, because normally I would ware a lacy racer back with this, but it's got a little twist in the back. It's so cute. I truthfully put this on this morning as soon as I got it because it's really comfortable. The material is so soft, I cannot wait. These are available on Body Candy now so you guys can match with me. It's so fun. We have so many options too. We have only a couple designs right now. If you have any design things that you would like to see, comment. We also have this really cute it's got the v-neck slight like little rip and it's a hoodie. It's one of the lighter ones, so this is perfect for like fires and like fall, without being super heavy. Excuse me. Then we also got v-necks. This one says, pierced, inked and amazing. You can flaunt the fact that you are a body [modded 00:23:28] babe and that you're super happy about it. You can rep everywhere you go and we will have more of these available as time goes on, but that's where we've started for you guys. Make sure you go grab those. They are on bodycandy.com right now.
I see somebody asking about my glass tapers again. These are my cute little squiggly babies. They kind of remind me of a wave, but they also kind of remind me of an octopus. I really like them. I'm a water. I'm a beach to mermaid. They just give me my vibe. They complete my vibe. McKenzie asked thinking of getting my industrial and triple forward helix at the same time, what your opinion? My opinion. My opinion on anybody that's asking about multiple piercings in your ear at one time, do it. If you know you want multiple cartilage piercings in one ear, do it in one shot you will not regret it. It's going to cost you a little bit more money up front, it's going to be painful that day, it's going to be like oh gosh what did I do? But when you only have to sleep all weird for one shot instead of every time you do one you'll be so glad you did. You're already not going to be able to sleep on this ear so you might as well just do it all and then it'll all be healed up around the same time, hopefully. Then you can just change everything all out and it's so cute and that's how you can curate your ear. I absolutely recommend getting multiple piercings at once.
Amanda, that's totally not tmi. Good luck. Also, don't feel like you ... PSA to everybody. There is no body shaming here. You can be any weight you want and have your belly button pierced. I just always like to make sure that I let everybody know that because this is a safe space, not trying to ever ever make anybody feel bad and everybody's beautiful and everybody wants to wear body candy. Duh. I don't blame you. I hope and I can't wait for you to be part of the belly button of the month or belly ring of the month club because it's really fun.
How can you measure between the piercings to minimize back crowding? It's Brandy's question. Your piercer should be properly laying things out so that you don't have back crowding. If you do, that would be an issue with your piercer. Just keep that in mind if you feel like they put the dots on. I say this stuff about tattoos, up until that freaking needle touches you, you can say no. You can say absolutely not. If you're uncomfortable I literally had a tattoo appointment to tattoo the back of my hand. I'm just not 100% sure right now on ... I'm like oh my gosh am I making the right decision? I'm waiting. It's just not a problem to say no, I need a little bit longer to think about it. If you are going to your piercer, they put the dots on you and you think that it's going to be a disaster, back out. Always keep that in mind, you have the power to say no.
April, make sure you send me pics when you grab a shirt. This freaking thing is so comfortable. Aw Alyssa I love you. This is the last comment and then we're going to show some tapers because I love talking and I love questions and I always get so wrapped up. Jenny said, I got three piercings at once three weeks ago and the only thing I'd suggest is taking ibuprofen immediately after or even before if you can. That is great advice. Again, make sure that you know for a fact you can take ibuprofen. I am not a medical doctor. I cannot give out medical advice. I always try to make sure I let you guys know 100 times over about that. That is great advice Jenny, thank you so much.
Not only do we have glass and I showed you guys the acrylics set. This is the, we have a bunch of these little mini sets that go from size 14 to double zero. We also have the packs that go from the double zero up to an inch, but we were really low on them so I didn't bring any with me to get everybody's hopes but we do carry them and I'm going to make sure that we restock, since we're talking about all this right now. We also showed the stone ones. This one is turquoise and it's just like the nice natural stone. This was the tiger eye one if you don't remember. Again, these come in very varying sizes. You can get all different kinds. If you're in the world of you still ... I'm right here. Hello. If you're still in the world of you don't mind the long straight taper but you don't necessarily want acrylic, other than stone you also have this is the little rose gold ones but we have these in the silver, the gold, just like the surgical steel titanium. All those really basic metals. They're very simple and look how cute and little these are. You would just have a little rose gold stud practically. These are very sweet. Very cheap and affordable, all of these. It's very affordable.
We also have these ones, which are I believe acrylic underneath but they're covered in a silicone. They are like a matte finish and I really liked these actually. These come in brown, blue and these are the teal ones although they look kind of blue right now. They're very cute. For all of our myrrh, myrrh folk out there. We also have mermaid scale ones, because how could we not? These are super cute and all shiny and beautiful and you can still be your beautiful mermaid self while you're stretching your ears. I think that's all I grabbed for the straight ones. Yeah I just think I grabbed a couple normal black ones to show you guys.
As I said, for anybody that wasn't here, if you're trying to stretch on a budget these acrylic packs come in the black and they come in clear. They're really affordable. You can get ones that are just the tapers, you can get packs that are the tapers and the plugs that go with each size of taper. My little fun fact about these was that when I was younger to save the money when I was trying to stretch when I was super broke I would use nail polish to paint the fronts of my plugs to match them. Because whether they're glass or whatever, it's just super easy to paint them and it was really fun for me. It was a way for me to feel like I had a ton of plugs and always matched but have my bank account love me a lot more.
In the other world of tapers we have many interesting things. This is where it gets fun. You don't have to have normal straight tapers if you don't want to. You can, they're fun, they're easy. But also you can go with things like pearl swirls. These are like a pearlesecent creamy color. We carry these in a variety of sizes. We also have them in the very mermaid-y finish of this fuchsia and hot pink and it goes into the purple and blue. These are so cute. I wish that I could still wear these because we don't have these any higher than what I already wear. April, tell your son I said hello. Hannah said, I've always gotten my nose rings from Body Candy. My nose is so small some of my gross studs are very flattering and I've recommended Body Candy to nearly all of my pierced pals. Nearly seven years out and I'm still a huge fan. We love hearing that Hannah. It's so nice to hear that you've been around for such a long time. We hope that you continue to enjoy shopping with us and I really appreciate everybody that comes to these live videos. I can't say it enough. This is like kind of something that I started doing when I started working here and it's been really fun to see this grow and have fun with it and interact with you guys.
Back to the tapers though. We're not going to get all softy right now. We have these from 14 gauge all the way up through like seven sixteenths or nine sixteenths or something like that. Here, hi. I love everybody's kids. I have so many people that message me pictures of their kids watching, it's so fun. Also, if you really like metal you could do BCR's like the ball captive rings that you see that are like a ring and they have the little ball that you pop into place. You can do those or we have these horse shoe style ones. They always remind me of tusks, I love them. We have these in a variety of finishes. These are the rainbow iodized, which I thought was a nice way to still be shiny and fun but you're still stretching and they're metal and not the acrylics. Some people don't like acrylic.
Miranda, you can totally stretch a few if you have more than one holes in your ears. We had a few people above that said that they had really good luck with it. You can absolutely do it. It's all about common sense really. If you're stretching and you size up and you feel like it looks a little bit different then stop or adjust what you're doing. It's al so so easy, for the most part. It's just a lot of troubleshooting. These are another really really fun option. They are still the swirl but they are made of wood and stone. I don't know if you can see all the detail but they look like carved petals and it kind of reminds me of like a tulip. These are so beautiful and we carry these in I think we have a blue stone, the white stone and then these kind of a variety of sizes too. I love these.
I snagged the pair, I forget what size they are but they're definitely not the size gauge that my ear is but I really like that loose look, which is kind of like these. These are actually only seven sixteenths and I'm five eights so these are loose but I don't mind that. This is cute and fun. Just remember at the end of the day you don't want to sleep in these or anything. You will break these. I slept in them on accident one day, was being a fatty and I just ate so much food and passed out with my earrings in. Oh it was so good though. Sometimes that happens. These are glass, you can't bend them. Also, if you're wearing anything smaller than your hole throughout the day. If you have a larger size and you want to wear things like this or the hangers make sure you put your plugs in because if not, the next day it's a little tougher to put them in. It might be uncomfortable.
Before I go, I'll give you guys a couple of stretching tips that I usually kind of blow out there while I'm talking but just so you guys have them all in one place since we looked at tapers today. When you are sizing up, hot hot shower, or as hot as you like it, but the shower. Wash your hands first. I always use the Dial antibacterial soap on my hands. Clean your hands real good before you start touching your fresh piercing because a taper is really when you're tapering your ears and gauging them it is kind of like a fresh piercing. Side note, if you want to get your ears pierced in order to stretch you need to get them pierced and allow that to heal super well before you start stretching. You cannot just pierce and start. I will totally bring a bunch of septum jewelry next week. I try to swap around piercing focuses for you guys so that you see different stuff.
April, that's another good point is a a lot of times she said she sized up to an eight and then let them go back. You can go back to normal sized earrings really easily up to a certain size. I think they say like zero to double zero is pretty much your rule of thumb. I'm not trying to downsize but if I tried to now, I probably would need a couple of the where you go get the stitches and they close your lobe for you. I would probably have to do that. Hot shower, clean hands, Vaseline, jojoba oil, vitamin E oil, anything like that. Whatever your doctor recommends, whatever you know is safe for your body. Again, I am not a doctor, I cannot give medical advice but you do want to use some sort of lubricant to help everything slide in really nicely. Make sure you use your O rings. We also carry extra O rings if you ever think that you need them for something. I honestly just started I grabbed a bunch since I'm in five eighths, I keep a little drawer or like a little baggie of them so that if I lose any I just have a bunch.
That's the thing. When you're done stretching, once you get the taper in and you let hang out for a little bit you are supposed to swap over to a plug, so don't forget that. You don't want to keep these long tapers in. Some people do and if you do, it's totally not a big deal. But I do just want to throw it out there that I read a lot of horror stories about people ripping their ears because these are so long. They would get caught on their hair or something back here and pull and rip. Just be super careful if you're going to not do that. Other than that, if any of you decide to stretch and you need any help you can find me on the Instagram at Body Candy, Twitter at Body Candy, Snapchat, bodycandy.com, youtube.com/bodycandybodyjewelry, Facebook.com/bodycandybodyjewelry and I think that's it. You're already on Facebook. I don't know why I ever said that. Oh our website is bodycandy.com. Www.bodycandy.com.
Anything that you saw today if you liked it when you are done you can go back into this live link, make sure you hit the like button or the love button because I love all of you. I live there, I live for this. It's so fun. I can't wait for you guys to see what's in store. Have an awesome weekend and I hope you guys had a really nice time with watching this video today, so have a great weekend. Bye.
