First, James cleans the area around Adam's nipple to make sure it’s clean, sterile and ready to accept a needle. Sterilizing the piercing area is an integral and necessary part of every piercing experience. Next, James marks the needle insertion location and clamps the skin to prep the skin of the nipple. 3, 2, 1... Deep breath, Adam! James pierces the nipple with a needle and corks it for safety. A brand new, high-polish BCR comes next, followed by a quick clamping to close the piercing up.

Adam (humorously) describes the experience as "the worst 'titty twister' he's ever had." Well said! Adam's piercing is good to go.

Body Candy: Hi Adam! What piercing did you get today and what made you want to get it?

Adam: I got my left nipple pierced, and I got it because I've never had a piercing and I wanted to experience what it was like to get one.

BC: Can you describe your experience at the shop today?

Adam: My experience overall was fantastic! The atmosphere of the shop was very welcoming, and I had nothing but good vibes from the piercer himself.

BC: What made you want body mods or what do you love about being a modified individual?

Adam: I already had a sleeve of tattoos before I got my piercing, but the thing I love the most about being pierced is the individuality it brought. When I tell people about my piercing, I get a real kick out of the mixed reactions from friends and family.

BC: On a scale of 1-10, how painful was your piercing?

Adam: The pain was a solid 8/10 for me.

BC: What kind of jewelry are you planning to wear in the future?

Adam: I'm not too familiar with different kinds of jewelry at this time, but if I ever do have any questions, I will plan to contact Body Candy for any tips they may have! I do know that I will probably be looking for something black.
