Q: I’ve had my eyebrow piercing for 2 months and it’s not really producing "crusties". Is it okay? - Molly B.
A: While yellow crusty discharge is totally normal in a healing piercing, so is the utter lack of it. Each body heals in its own way and just because your piercing isn’t oozing some lymph doesn’t mean that there is anything wrong. If it does begin to get a bit crustier as it heals, don’t panic but for the time being it sounds (presuming you’re having no other issues) like everything is a-ok! Q: Hi, I’ve always had trouble keeping my nose piercing in. So, I quit, and my hole closed. I want to get it re pierced with a permanent tiny diamond. Is this possible? I don’t want to replace or re pierce nose again. Is this possible? - Candy
A: I’m not sure I completely understand your question so let’s just go over some options here. You can get your nostril re-pierced. The piercer may not be able to pierce you with a small diamond or gem end, depending on what they have in stock, but once healed you could change the jewelry to a flatback labret with a petite diamond end and then never change your jewelry again. Or you could try a clip-on, if you really don’t want to get re-pierced at all. Or, you could experiment with tiny rhinestones and eyelash glue and see if you can emulate the look you’re going for without any jewelry at all. (Plus, if it falls off, it’s no big deal to replace.) However if you are looking for a way to have a permanent diamond attached to your nostril without piercing or jewelry, there’s no good way to go about it. The nose isn’t really designed for a dermal implant. Best of luck!
